There are thousands of local adults and children in need of services for mental health, intellectual disability, crisis and substance abuse.
A mother cries for help as she watches drug addiction take over her son’s life. Without Region Ten, where will she go?
Without Region Ten, who will provide needed services for individuals with intellectual disabilities?
When left untreated, mental health disorders can lead to school failure, family conflict, drug abuse, violence, and even suicide. 5% to 9% of children and youth between the ages of 9 and 17 have serious emotional disturbances that cause substantial functional impairment.
A child suffering from mental health disorders can’t afford to wait for help.
You can make a difference. Please contact your local governing body and ask them to partner with Region Ten to maintain these critical community services.
